Clean Slate Law

Connecticut has passed a "Clean Slate Law" effective January 1, 2023. You can read the law
here. With some exceptions, misdemeanors cannot be reported after 7 years from the conviction date. Class D felony convictions are reportable for 10 years. More serious felonies are not affected. Beginning January 1, 2023, convictions subject to erasure will not be displayed.
